Tomohon is a city of volcanoes, and Eusabeia sits on warm ground. Naturally heated spring water is part of every stay — in open-air baths, in private tubs and in the rhythm of the day.
Why we soak
Warm mineral water loosens tired muscles after a long flight or a morning on the volcano, and slows the mind right down. In the cool mountain air of Tomohon, there is simply no better way to end the day.
Three kinds of water
The hot spring baths and the pool are there for villa guests to enjoy. Spa and wellness packages can be booked at the front desk.
Open-air hot spring baths
Soak outdoors in naturally warm water with the garden, the ponds and the hills around you. Best in the early morning mist or after sunset.
Private soaking tubs
Selected villas have their own stone tub filled with spring water — a guest favourite. Let us know when booking and we'll reserve one for you.
Outdoor pool
A large pool with a view, open all year, with sun umbrellas and pool towels. The Grand Villa also has its own private pool.
The water gardens at night
When the lights come on, the ponds and water gardens glow — a slow walk before or after an evening soak.
Slow rituals, mountain air
Pair your soak with one of our spa and wellness packages, then settle onto your terrace with a pot of tea. Afternoon tea is served in the restaurant, and room service can bring it to your villa.

How to enjoy the water
- Time
- Soak for 10–20 minutes at a time, then rest and cool down before going back in.
- Hydrate
- Drink plenty of water before and after bathing. Bottled water is provided in every villa.
- When
- Early morning and evening are the most atmospheric — the valley is cool and misty.
- Health
- If you are pregnant or have a heart or blood-pressure condition, check with your doctor before using hot water baths.
- Children
- Children are welcome but should always be supervised by an adult in the baths and the pool.

Is the hot spring water natural?
Yes. The water is naturally heated underground — Tomohon lies between several volcanoes, including Mount Lokon and Mount Mahawu.
Is hot spring bathing included in my stay?
The hot spring baths and the outdoor pool are for villa guests. Spa and wellness packages may carry an extra charge — we will confirm everything when you book.
Can I visit just for the hot spring without staying?
Please contact us on WhatsApp to ask about day visits — availability depends on occupancy.
Which villas have a private tub or pool?
The Grand Villa has its own private pool, and selected villas have private hot spring soaking tubs. Mention it in your enquiry and we'll confirm which villa to book.
